The weather is starting to warm up in New York. I must say that I do feel cheated at the lack of snow this winter, but I can't deny that having spring on the horizon feels wonderful. Spirits are souring all over the city, and most people have a little extra spring in their step. It feels like just the right time to pull out my ridiculous hot pink shoes. I'm not one to wait in line for pretty much anything, so when Versace debuted a highly anticipated collection at H&M I dismissed it as something that only people with extreme patience or friends in public relations would be wearing. But just for good measure I swung by later that afternoon to pick over whatever was left. Mostly I wanted to see what was in the woman's collection for inspiration for my own line, but low and behold downstairs in the men's department there was one pair of these ostentatious oxfords left. And they were miraculously in my size. Obviously Donatella had cast a spell over these shoes to be only visible to me, what a fabulous witch she is! So I took it as a sign and made them my own, taking them home in a neon geo/tropical print shopping bag, practically skipping onto the A train.

Lincoln Center is one of my favorite places in New York. It is so serene and majestic. The last time that I was there taking pictures of this outfit I was approached by another fashion blogger to have my picture taken. This was the first time in a decade of living in the city that this has ever happened to me. I'm not even going to pretend to keep my cool about the whole thing, I was terribly flattered. So keep an eye out for this blogger all over the interwebs. Who knows where I will show up next?
But if you guessed that the next logical place to spot me will be in line at a Shake Shake, you are probably correct. Sadly, Olivia Palermo this blogger is not. Can you pass the ketchup?
